You want to import a bike? Go to google and search gray market bikes -- these are bikes that have already been imported that are now for sale. There are a few forums I´ve found with hell stories about how long it took and what they went through to import and register their bike (and it takes a good chunk of money too!!) The deal is -- you have to ARGUE that your vtr 250 is EXACTLY comparable to another bike that is already here! I disagree that they are out of spec thats BS! Just do your research and go to DMV and there´s another place but I can´t remember the name the guy listed -- but there´s a few places that deal directly with importing bikes, etc. good luck!
