Max speed I´ve managed so far is just north of 60mph (being a big bloke I doubt I´ll get it higher), but it takes some aggressive acceleration to get into the upper reaches of the speedo..

Going up most hills means dropping to 2nd (or 1st depending on the incline) and really whacking the throttle open, and keeping it there until you clear the top.

Beyond those minorish niggles, it handles midrange commuting well and a full tank lasts ages, if you behave yourself..
