Hi Ivan,
the low pover engine (7 CV less then the original NX650 1988) is due to the modification to reduce air pollution.
To restore the orginal power you have to do many changes (exaust, ignition, air filter, etc.) but you can buy an the Wiseco piston (12:1 compression + the XR 600 camshaft)obtaining approximately 60 CV (see the XR650L brought in the USA)
