i have an 03 vtec vfr which doesn´t engage at the 7000 rpms when the bike is not warmed up. Is it always supposed to kick in at the 7000 rpms or does it need to warm up. I have had to ride 7 or 8 miles sumtimes before it starts working. I asked at the local dealer and he knew nothing about how it works. I would think it should work from start up.
