I just bought a new 2003 silver vfr. I am going to pick it up in 2 days. I have rode on a friends 1999 model vfr and loved it. The new vfr´s have changed for the better. They have every thing you could ask for in a sport touring motorcycle. I previously owned a 2002 Yamaha 600r. I like the vfr because of the extras that sometimes don´t get discussed. We all know about the engine, linked brakes, and performance of the vfr. I really like the new exhaust coming out from under the seat, center stand, one piece seat for 2, and the comfortable riding position. The vfr is a great sport bike that is comfortable for 2 people to ride. It also has all the power you need to get some thrills when by yourself on some twisty back roads.
I am looking forward to riding my new vfr and will keep you posted on what I think after I put some miles on the tires.
