Hi

I live in South Africa and have bought a Japanese spec VFR800 FI which has an ecu/cdi unit with the code 38770-MBG-701. Are these ecu units interchangeable for the same year bikes. In other words, can I use an American spec or European spec ecu on a Japanese spec bike ?
