if you like the bike and you can put time into the bike.. go for it.. i got my 86 vfr 750 that my mother put away 7 years ago and i came accross it,. got my hands on it and i got a nice mice nest in the air box also but there is a nice screan underneath to cover up so as long as they didn´t go threw there you should be good. but to the poing of this is .. i took 6 hours of a nice day got the bike to a budys place got to work at it and she fired and ran.. took alot over over looking and checking to make sure and hope that something wouldn´t go wrong. but she runs and i`ll have it on the road soon.. and its supose to be low speed snappy, so id so go for it, if you have the skills to fix it do it.
