I have a similar problem ith a 95 vfr 750..seems to be most noticeable at tickover when hot..If I lean the bike to the right the noise all but goes.
I read of a similar problem in ´Motorcycle News´ and they stated that it is ´End float´ in one of the gears that drive the camshaft...and that Honda issued a service bulletin regarding this problem..I have had confirmation from Honda regarding this issue.
But how acm I be sure this noise is not something else...
