Quite easy... Start with tank as empty as possible, take down the rear fairing: you have to take the seat off the bike, then the screws on both sides (close to tank, front end of rear fairing), and also the two screws that hold rear fairing to sub-frame (top rear of rear fairing, where passenger normally seats). You then have to unplug indicator lights connections (easy to find, inside tail section close to lights...). Now gently pull front of rear fairing away from sides of tank (it is attached with tabs that you donĀ“t want to break), then VERY GENTLY AND WITH PATIENCE (very fragile!!!) pull rear fairing away from bike. When this is done, turn gas tap under tank, and undo horizontal screw that holds tank (there is a spacer, do not loose it). Now undo both tubes (air and gas) that are plugged under tank (they have quick-release metal rings), and start lifting tank. You will notice an electrical wire preventing you to pull further: unplug the connection. Now lift tank up and backwards. It is separated from frame by two black rectangular rubber tabs on undersides and two rubber round sections on front, do not loose these. When tank is down, you will notice a quite large black plastic box under it: this is the filter box. Just open it by undoing screws, and inside you will find... guess what? The FILTER!!! Pull it gently and replace it. Be careful no dust or debris fall in the box when doing this! Now repeat the whole procedure backwards... Have fun!!!
