1986 VFR 750F (European version) ... exhaust question

I own an ´86 VFR 750F. This is the European version of the bike, the RC24. The differences from the U.S. version are (1) spedo in kilometers, not miles, (2) 17" wheels front and rear, (3) gas guage, (4) kick stand "kill switch" and amber light indicator, (5) high beam flasher, (6) solid red color (with white pin striping) ... not the pearl white or the red, white & blue paint job, (7) more integrated and streamlined turn signals, fore and aft ... that´s about it.

This bike being 18 years old, there are not a lot of exhaust options available. I thought Staintune might be the way to go at one point, but they had discontinued their products for this bike. It now looks like Supertrapp/Kerker may be the way to go.

In a perfect world, by changing the exhaust I´d like to (a) get more horse power/torque out of the deal, (b) lose some weight over the OEM exhaust, and, of course, (c) make more noise, preferably with a pleasing "exhaust note."

I love this bike, am slowly restoring it, and plan on keeping it. So, I´d like to get some good advice/tips here. Any ideas? The OEM pipes have a 2.15 inch outside diameter, if that helps.

Anyone using Supertrapp/Kerker on their VFR?

Thanks ...
