I have one of the NC24 models.
Common problems are the exhaust collector box situated under the engine rusts away and you need to drop the engine out to change it (this may not be an issue with your climate. Also rectifier/regulator failure is a common problem this will also ruin the battery. Apart from needing to keep the engine tuned and the carbs balanced the engine is virtualy indestructable. Good luck.
