Haynes Workshop manual:
The frame serial number is stamped into the right side of the
steering head and the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) appears
on the left side of the steering head; ..
VF750S (1982)................. ......... RC07E-2000066 to 2015996
VF750S (1983)................. ......... RC07E-2100018 to 2115544

many descriptions of ´history of VF750S´ or ´V45´ or ´Sabre´ dont really cover the pletora of supposed different builds on the market. It´s just paint and models tags, and it´s all mixed up. Except for ´California´, US, UK, EU continent differences, and all models are all over the place

I have a VF750 ´S´ (not Sabre) of ´82, (which isnt possible)and is a supposed ´UK´ version, because it has a ´parking´ light, but it´s speedometer is in KM,
so just look at the shopmanuals what to do, and make your own judgement what parts are involved on yours
