Hey Marty, I hope you are enjoying you´re bike. I bought a Honda Magna back in 1982. It was in such demand that I had to purchase it after only seeing a photo - no dealer could keep any on the showroom floor. This motorcycle was way ahead of its time. It was the first with a hydraulic clutch, one of the first to be liquid cooled and a drive shaft. At 82 horse power I can´t think of another 750 that could match that. It has a style that started the Japanese bikes trying to look like Harley´s. This motorcyle was a first in many ways. I can´t answer your question as to how much oil this bike holds - I can´t remember, although I don´t think its all that much. You can get a rough idea when you see the amount of the old oil, plus just keep a eye on the oil window when filling - (fill slowly useing the center stand). I still have my now 25 year old bike, and it still looks good - Unfortunitly I haven´t been able to get her started since last year - I think it had some bad gas along with a ceized throttle cable. Anyway good luck with the bike, have fun. Steve |
