Greetings all! I am new tothis forum, but not riding. I have owned my 83 VF750C Magna since 1997. It has been a good bike but for the last two years or so she has stood in garage gathering dust. I am trying to get her back up and running well but she is being very reluctant. She refuses to run smoothly mostly and will not idle at all. Sort of sounds like she needs about two years of gunk cleaned out of her carbs. Any clues on how to do this short of spending 200 dollars at a shop? Also are any of you in my neck of the woods? Perhaps you will know of a good reliable shop with access to replacement parts and spares. Thanks for the info. Later, Beej |
