shaft drive alignment |

A friend of mine has asked me to work on his 1983 Honda 750C (V45 Magna) that´s been sitting for 10 years (yeah, don´t ask). I´m comfortable with all the work (carbs, radiator, oil, brakes, tires, etc.) except the shaft drive. (I will buy the Honda Service Manual for the bike, so I´ll forego asking about changing the shaft drive oil.) I´ve done some google searching and I´ve several Tech Bulletin references to proper shaft drive alignment. Since I have to remove the wheels to replace the tires, this is paramount. I´ve never worked on a shaft drive bike. (Might as well learn on a bike that´s been sitting for a decade 8-). Any advice is appreciated. thanks |
