This is the beginning of the cafe racer,but 100lb. too heavy. ( with a torquey V45 motor weighing 200lb.) Small windscrean & fairing up front donĀ“t offer loads of protection for the rider. The V4 had top end oiling problems & most all the valve train had premature wear.Cam chain adjusters were a joke & usually noisy.After 86 all that was updated & the great VFR800 resulted.The early interceptor was also offered in a V65,1000cc. model.Both were the best around in there time.
