don´t know your riding experience. over all the 700 sabre has a good feel- obviously not anything like the later model sprot bikes- but for its day, and for everyday riding it is a good bike to ride, little stiff on the suspension, but not bad. and you can twist off on it and actually hang with a lot of the later model 600cc sport bikes out- not saying in anyway you can run off and leave them- but you will be surprised on how well the 700 sabre does performance wise. good bike.
