Was having trouble getting my ´83 VF1100 Magna started this spring. Charged battery and got it to run for a bit. Noticed the three yellow wires going to the rectifier getting way hot. Ended up having to get new battery. Thought maybe the rectifier was working too hard due to battery failing. Not so...needed battery anyway. Can anyone help with this? I am thinking bad rectifier? Thanks
