I´m pretty sure you would turn it counter clock wise if you were looking at it from the right side of the bike, an easy way to loosen the bolt is to put a penny in between the gears of the clutch and starter clutch because the soft copper won´t hurt the gears but it will stop them from turning so you can get the bolt off, when you are going to take the starter clutch off make sure you wrap your fingers around the whole pack so it doesn´t all come apart whhen you slide it off the shaft and just make sure the dots are lined up on the shaft and the starter clutch and you should be good to go.
