My 1000 Interceptor has issues. While riding at highwat speed it started cutting out like I was out of fuel. I switched to reserve but nothing changed. It would miss, and it wouldn´t rev past 6000.I put more fuel in, and about an hour later drove 30 min. home, the bike still acting the same. When home I parked the bike and then heard the battery bubbling away as it would during charging, only more vigorously. I removed the battery. I have a shop manual and followed up testing of different electrical components, not finding anything faulty. I am thinking the battery is cooked but am afraid to simply put another in without knowing the root of the problem.
