I also have a VF1000F. The machine is underrated, i have 60,000mi on mine, problem free, and i am collecting the spares to head for 250,000. Maybe someday, a mil. Who knows, huh. Oh, in regards to steering stem bearings, not a problem here, have heard otherwise, maybe im just lucky. Godspeed....
