i bought a new 2009 vulcan en 500, possibly the worst mistake i have made buying a motorcycle! since day one it stalls whenever it feels like it. started doing it at low speeds locking up the rear tire... not good on gravel roads, too bad thats where i live. then stalling between 55 and 60 mph, taking up to 20 minutes to get restarted. doesnt do it all the time. takin it to the dealer, they replace the gas gap said it wasnt venting properly. took it back again they said it was hitting the reserve. i told them it does it sometimes after just refueling, but the majority of the time with between 70 and 100 miles on the tank,they rebuilt the carbs...charged to me, then said they couldnt duplicate problem so if i bring it back they will have to charge me .... do yourselves a favor buy other than kawasucki
