I´m the owner of a Thai spec Honda MSX SF 125 slightly modified.

But!

On many occasions, I see the Honda Super Cup Dream 110cc, zoom past me on the open roads.

I´m constantly amazed at the speed those bikes go at!

Ok, I must consider a few factors such as weight, size of wheels, aerodynamics etc, but I´m still impressed at the performance of the Super Cub. So much so, I´m considering a trade in?

The MSX looks the dogs, especially modified, but in standard mechanical set up, it´s crap!

A slight head wind or incline, especially in fourth great, knocks the power right down.

Fourth gear is more an over drive gear, so keeping the bike in third gear does help out a lot but to be honest, the performance is rubbish for a bike which is donated SF for street fighter but in all honesty, the bike couldn´t fight it´s way out of a wet paper bag!

Simply put, the MSX SF is far too under powered and geared to be considered a street fighter contender!

Come on Honda, wake up! Fit a two hundred cc unit with fourteen inch wheels to the MSX SF. Alternatively known as the Grom in the USA.

Many more bikes, the same size as the MSX, are now on the market with one fifty plus cc power plants. Wake up Honda! You´ll loose the market if you don´t improve the performance of the MSX!

Does any reader know the specifications of both the front drive sproket and rear driven sproket of the Honda Super Cup Dream one hundred and ten cc bike?

The MSX SF is, Front is fifteen toothed sprocket and Rear is thirty five toothed sprocket.

If anyone could assist, I´d be most greatful.

Regards.
