New bike - 03 model but registered 01/03/04. Made verbal complaint at 500 miles. Official complaint at 1000. Current mileage 1500. Problem currently under investigation by garage and Honda.

Transmission generaly rough up to 4000 RPM in 5th gear.

Severe chattering noise from transmission when accelerating. Noise is far more pronounce at low RPM. Shaft adjustments have failed to cure the problem.

In addition, howling noise from transmission. In 5th gear noise starts at 2800 RPM but begins to faid at 3400 RPM.

Has anyone else experienced these or similar problems.
