I am very interested in buy a Honda st1300. Coming across some articles from the earlier near, I noticed that the bike(at least the earlier models) suffered from a pan weave, in which the bike has a tendency to weave from the back, at very high speeds. Also, the article mention that the manual the side saddle bags not exceed 9kgs each (almost twenty pounds), and this can contribute to that weaving affect. I have not found this discussion on the 2011 models. Is this weave issue still an issue, in particular with the 2010 models and up? I am looking to purchase this bike within the next three months. I want to make the best decision possible.
