S50 Vibrations at all speeds

My wife´s 2008 , S50 only has 2100 miles runs very well other than has vibrations such that the rear view mirrors are totally useless.Is this normal for this bike? I have a new 2011 C50T which runs very smoothly in comparison.
New riders.
