Not so good vibrations

I have purchased a new 2010 Suzuki C50T. I am having vibration problems, not coming from the wheels but from the motor. At all speeds and especially when accelerating. After riding the bike for a short time it feels like you have been working with a jack hammer as your fingers and toes vibrate. Feels like something is out of balance in the motor. I have ridden other c50 models and have not experienced this before. The dealer is trying to tell me this is normal.

Any ideas?
