I have a 2002 with 51,900 miles on it. Maintained with records. Oil changed religiously every 3000 to 3600 miles.
the last two times when I have checked the oil, it has been down 1/2 quart and the 2nd time 1 1/2 quarts. I run Rotella-T 5w-30 and a Fram 6017A filter. The engine is not smoking (per fellow riders) and the plugs are showing normal firing conditions.(slight white, no carbon, not oily). There is no leaks showing on the bike or the floor.

Where or where has my poor oil gone? Any ideas? Thankyou.
