i too had some problem getting used to shifting a 4 spd...notice on the speedo the suggested speeds for shifting for each gear...this bike is capable of going 45-55mph in 2nd gear...i have rarely even had this bike in 4th gear...only in acesses of 75 mph ,and still had pleanty of headroom to go
