I get about 40+mpg with premium gas and about 35-38mpg with regular. I tried regular just to see if there would be a difference. Don´t know about others and their cycles, but mine has a significant performance difference (negative kind), as well as backfires with regular gas. Keep in mind that the type of pipes you have, as well as the jetting on the carbs will affect mileage, as well as what kind of air filter you have. With our cycles´ air filter being under the seat, it´s more difficult for ours to breathe properly, so make sure you have a clean air filter, if not a high performance one, such as K&N.
