i´m a shop owner and have a 99 vt1100 aero that i´m workin on with EXACTLY THE SAME SYMPTOMS... the carbs are perfect, spark plugs are NEW, compression is at 150+ on both cyl´s and the front cuts out. starts and runs on both cylinders with the choke on but the front dies when it´s off and the engine gets warm..will run on the highway but will fight it till you get to speed, hard to ride at all in town. i´ve been searching for 2 days and no ideas, replaced the float valves and nothing... i suspect timing issues or the ignition box itself..
