I am now sure of horsepower less you check www.powersports.honda.com
I have a vt1100C 2004 and It was smoking heavy from day one, @ 160 miles, teh pressure in crankcase increased to high the oil exploded on me while I was on the way to Honda Dealer in MAnteca , CA to fix, The local dealer in Modesto, CA has failed to repair and warranty problems That Modesto HOnda and owner Phil, they also damaged my wifes cmx250 rebel dented ank and drop my 1986 Magna and shattered the windsheild adn refuse to make it right,. Milpitas Honda a power dealer also could not replair teh problem here in CAlif.
The subsicent damage is a cam shaft seal blow out on front upper cylinder. and I was saturated in oil , scratch on pair of leanthers
I do love the smooth ride. Just hated teh early failure, Honda HRCA was helful in towing me to local dealer . The HRCA was included in purchase price and I recommend it to anyone. My CSAA auto club wont deal with bikes
