I saw the question about finding a better way to change or move location of fuel pump on ´97 VT1100 ACE, but I am new and somewhere between novice and incompetent in both mechanics and web based forum use. My bike is 96 version of same 1100ace. I have the faulty filter finally removed and ready to install it´s OEM replacement. It was exceedingly difficult for me to get the old one out and I´m thinking the original ? Poster had good idea about relocating the pump. I´d rather put mine in the spot occupied by the little Honda tool kit. Doable?
