Water pump on my 1996 Honda Shadow Ace C2 is leaking from a bad cover O-ring.(determined by wiggling the metal outlet pipe causing coolant to noticeably leak.
Do i have to remove the engine to replace this $8.00 O-ring or can it be done with the engine still in the bike.
When i ordered the O-ring from the dealer the parts guy told me the engine had to be removed and the bike manual seems to suggest that the water pump only needs to be removed if the \
