Had this problem. The connector for the stator under the seat for some reason tends to melt. You will need to find this connector (3 yellow wires)and check if the connector is ok, any melting or discoloration, take it apart and spray the contacts. If that doesn´t work then you have a proble with the rectifier or stator.
