i have a 2001 that has sat for 4 months twice in the last 1.5 years and will not start now after sitting for 17 days. i never used fuel additives, stupid, so probably things are gunked up. is it possible to buy a battery charger to turn starter - i think it will start given enough time (it is cold here) - but the battery is getting weak. i´m a new ignorant bike owner with no manual and not even sure where battery is located. or if it´s possible to jump using a car battery. any help much appreciated.
