I bought my first bike May, 05. It´s an 04 Shadow VLX. The bike had 1371 miles and was one-owned by an older couple. I have a few questions. First, was 5000.00 an OK buy? (the motorcycle was in fabulous condition; not a scratch) Also, the owner´s manual has "VT600C/CD SHADOW VLX/DELUXE" on it. Do I have the deluxe model? What does the C/CD stand for? Finally, I love this motorcycle and plan on keeping it for a long while. How many miles can I put on this bike before it starts to fall apart (assuming proper maintenance)? Thanks!
