I recently bought my 04 VLX 600 and the previous owner cut out the baffles from the exhaust. I was fine with this at first, but now the excess noise is bothering me. I´ve looked at a number of aftermarket pipes but they seem to make the bike louder, which is not the direction I want to go. Also can´t afford the $600-$800 that new stock pipes cost. Any suggestions?
