After doing a lot of research on replacing the seat on my 83 Shadow, I ended up getting a Corbin. They are the only company that still produces a seat for the 83-85 Shadows. It wasn´t cheap, but it´s much more comfortable than the stock seat was. As for giving you more room....there´s only so much space to work with on these bikes, and I don´t think there is much of an improvement for riding two up. Good luck!
