My ´83 VT 750 Shadow is extremely hard to start cold and seems to be draining a fully charged battery if I don´t run it every day or so after I do get it going. I just bought a new battery and would like to know what to check to help me establish confidence. I don´t want to take it very far for fear of nt being able to get it started. I´ve heard everything from fan switches to water pumps.Is there a common issue others face with this model?
