The 750 Spirit has a wet disc clutch. Wet because it is bathed in the engine oil. The clutch on this bike is weak. If you power- shift it with two up at 70 to 80 mph it will slip slowly into engagement. I installed Barnett racing clutch springs and now the clutch never slips under any circumstances. The clutch pull is only slightly harder. I can also use fully synthetic motor oil now without worrying about the clutch.
