Ken, Actually, the 2into 1 OEM exhaust only LOOKS that way; it´s actually true dual with individual baffles for each cylinder. If you want something real unique, try sending that stock exhaust to Sturgis pipe works and have them gut the entire system and do their changeable baffle arrangement to it. The system is tuneable (not a supertrapp)and you can alter backpressure for the sound you want then of course re-jet accordingly. If you do an exhaust system, consider doing the "snorkelectomy" too. By removing the snorkel from the airbox (I also added a K&N)you´ll find yourself with top end you never knew the v-twin was capable of. Replacing the slow jet will also restore the low end torque that frequently disappears when doing the pipe and mainjet swap. I don´t have bags yet because I haven´t found any I really like the looks of. There are some pretty nice hardbags out there but they´re bucks up... The windsheild is a matter of personal preference. I´ve heard good things about the Hondaline sheild. Like most of the Honda accessories, they´re proud of it. Meancycles.com is also an excellent resource for aftermarket accessories. If you really want some good info on the Aero, check out the Aero 750 forum on Delphi.com ; great bunch of people and just about any accessory you can name you´ll find an opinion on. This alone can save you a LOT of money. Good luck with the scooter! |
