Hi Sharon... This is a common complaint among Spirit 750 users. I do not believe that this is a suspension issue...unless you have a broken shock. It is just a matter of rpm and speed. Although I have not made the mod, simply installing a different size front or rear sprocket will eliminate much if not all of that top end vibration, but you will lose some low end power. Easy job and not too expensive. If you do most of your riding on the open highway, the mod will probably be good for you. If you prefer backroads cruising with lots of shifting...maybe not. Check out this site http://www.hondashadow.net and read the forum...do a search for "sprocket teeth" or "vibration" and I know you will come across a number of mentions of your issue and lots of great advice from very knowledgeable riders. You´ll probably also make a lot of new friends...great site. Good luck! ~ShadowRob |
