I´ve had mine since Dec. 03. As far as investing your money in a shadow aero... I don´t think you can loose-it´s pretty inexpensive! And to top that, I get complimented practically every time I fill up. People always think it´s a "bigger" bike than it is. It´s a very good looking bike (mine´s black with saddlebags, windshield, spot lights etc.) My biggest gripes are that for a 6´er the windshield is too low. And, all dressed up with a passenger, the handling is not up to snuff. I´m not crazy about the rear suspension. It´s a bit too firm and doesn´t handle extra load well-as mentioned. On the other hand, without the windshield and additional weight it handles quite well. Other than that, it´s a bargain and it´s beautiful. If I had the money I´d "invest" in something with more power, more real metal (there´s a fair amount of plastic-but what do you expect for the price?), and even more comfortable. But, I´d hope that the styling was as close to the Aero´s as possible.
