Hey! The question should be, How often will your wife ride with you? I got myself a 750 ACE in Sept.2000 to do exactly what you plan on doing however, it did not fan out that way. With the two of us on it, you still can easily crank it to 130 or so, then your speeding! I think it is a very nice size bike for intown and hwy, and there is so much you can add to it. Crusing at 110kph, the ACE 750 is just right. Also, keep in mind, "the bigger the engine is, the widder you wallet will have to be open for inssurance.
I enjoy mine every time i´m on it. Cheers!
