New to riding street bikes in the millennium

New to riding street bikes in the millennium

Knocking on the door of 50 and I have not ridden a street bike in 20 years and they where not cruisers, more crock rockets.
Hoping to get some advice on the bike I just bought 2012 Honda Shadow Spririt 750 with 41 miles on it today when I test
Drove it. Probably 47 now. I will take a picture if someone does not beleave.
