Hello, I bought a second hand SH300i two month ago, with 22000km, its from 2007 model. Well nothing to say. I have the impression to have a brand new engine. Only one thing i have changed are the rear shock absorber. This is the only one bad point for this scooter, except is tiny underseat storage. And frankly it does. No more horse kick in the back. I am using it in Vietnam where road conditions are different than western countries, dust, rain and rain during musson, holes and naked road. It simply does it and make it good. On street, accelarations and trajectories are straight forward. And combined brakes is a must. On naked road 16ยด wheels make it easy and also ease to park your scoot on sidewalk (avoid to scratch under body) Acceleration is a must on this scoot. Whatever in Vietnam average speed in town is 30-40 km/h, but it helps to take you out of the stream and to drive ahead of the pack. As i like acceleration rather than top speed, i have changed, variator, clutch bell, clutch and exhaust. Acceleration has been improved significantly, that now i take care to not turn the accelerator too far. And what i like with Honda, its reputation or reliability. Such an engine can reach over 100000km mileage. |
