Gearing Question

I would like to know what gearing changes to final drive gearing works better than stock. Stock seems high with not much lower end in second gear. Do the bikes work any better with 15 or 16 tooth fronts or slightly larger gear such as a 41 or 42 tooth? Has anyone experimented with this. I like to do wheelies and second is usually the gear on other bikes with a strong but not harsh hit.
