I used to be able to start my 1986 Honda 250 Rebel in any gear as long as I squeezed the clutch. But these days I can only start it in neutral. It´s a pain if you stall while you are in 1st gear and you´re waiting for a red light to turn. You have to go back to neutral to start it up again. I know there was something you detach somewhere to get it to start in first gear but I can´t remember what or where it is. I have tried disconnecting the electrical connections on both handle bars and it still starts only in neutral. Do you know what I have to do to get back the ability to start in all gears?
