Just bought a 1989 PC 800 with only 5,500 kms. on it. Read lots of great things about the bike but In reading about the 89 model year a couple of issues seem to be stator problems and rear tire-rub under the trunk. Both of these issues are said to have been fixed in subsequent years. I assume a new stator will fix that problem but I would appreciate information on what was the fix or what and can be done to cure the retire rubbing issue. As I said I just bought the bike and its still too cold to ride it in Nova Scotia but I would like to address the tire rub issue so I don´t get dissapointed
